Elevator Radio Show 440 - Week 08/31/16

The big story on today’s show is the shifting of elevator re-inspection strategy in the state of Massachusetts to help with the current backlog that exists.  My soapbox talk will be shared so be prepared for it. The important sentence that should be highlighted in first article link is the note that one in five annual safety checkups fail.  If there’s that great of a backlog here’s an idea, hire more inspectors because accidents like the ones linked on the show today are going likely to grow and it shouldn’t take a catastrophic event to make legislators think twice about not reinspecting elevators that fail.

On a more positive note it’s our prize pack giveaway and to become eligible to win the $100 visa gift card and goodies from the entities below just like our facebook page and/or subscribe on our website to updates.
