Click Here to download ERS-2010-05-19 #205 I had a great time in Houston last week and really enjoyed the presentations that were given at the IAEC Forum! Every time I attend one of these conferences I realize just how much information I don’t know about elevators and escalators and appreciate the opportunity to be in company with those who do! All in all it was a great trip and the IAEC proved once again that know how to put together an excellent educational program.  I’ll provide a brief recap on the program today along with covering the stories that I found. One video that I’ll share with you has a very scary ending. Combine a wheel chair with an escalator and just watch what you get. The Elevator Escalator Safety Foundation is in business to help educate the riding public NOT to do stupid stuff like this. I’ve not yet seen a video such as this on the internet and it is truly horrific.
