February 19, 2010 – The Elevator Escalator Safety Foundation (EESF) announces the release of a poster to publicize the Foundation’s mission to industry members. This poster was created through a committee whose charge is to help create awareness of EESF within the elevator and escalator industry. This committee was created through EESF’s strategic plan, put into place after the Foundation’s board as a map of goals for the future of the Foundation.
Matt Rupp of C. E. Electronics and an alternate on EESF’s Board of Directors, is the chairman of this committee. The company, along with the help of Stuart Rosebrock, designed this poster as an in-kind contribution to the Foundation.
The poster, which reminds industry members that they are “part of a bigger picture,” was created so that it can be printed and placed in workrooms, lunchrooms, locker rooms and other common gathering areas. This poster acts as a reminder for those in our industry that the Foundation’s mission is to educate the public on the safe and proper use of elevators, escalators and moving walks through informational programs. By supporting EESF and its programs, accidents can be significantly reduced.
